Jakarta – Kendaraan tersebut diserahkan langsung oleh Direktur Utama Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota kepada Sekjen Kemhan, Letjen TNI Tri Budi Utomo, untuk memperkuat distribusi logistik dalam operasi penanggulangan bencana di Sumatera, jumat (5/12), di Jakarta.
Dilengkapi mesin tangguh dan sistem penggerak 4×4, kendaraan ini mampu melintasi medan ekstrem di wilayah terdampak. “Harapannya distribusi logistik bagi saudara-saudara kita yang terdampak bencana dapat berlangsung lancar,” ujar Sekjen.
Sinergi ini menjadi wujud nyata kolaborasi pertahanan dan dunia usaha dalam mendukung ketangguhan bangsa menghadapi bencana.
The Ministry of Defence welcomed the donation of four Scorpio Vigar vehicles from PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara on Friday (5 December), in Jakarta.
The vehicles were officially handed over by President Director Joao Angelo De Sousa Mota to Secretary General of Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, to strengthen logistical distribution in disaster response operations in Sumatra.
Equipped with robust engines and a 4×4 drive system, the vehicles are capable of navigating extreme terrains in disaster-affected areas. “These vehicles will help ensure smoother delivery of essential supplies to our fellow citizens impacted by the disaster,” said the Secretary General.
This initiative reflects a tangible synergy between the defence sector and industry, contributing to a stronger and more resilient Indonesia.(rd)
